Next js - Is it getting just too hard to use?

I used to write React.js. It was not easy at the beginning but eventually, I learnt the React’s ways and it made a lot of sense.

Next.js server components

At some stage during Next.js 13, they dived head first into server components.

Since then, Next.js seems to get harder and harder to use for features which need integration, e.g. a CMS, static site rendering and internationalization.

In the end I moved this site to Astro: migrating from Next.js to Astro.
